On-demand App
On-demand translation requests generate translation orders that you can find and manage in the On-demand app page. Start by logging in to the Customer Portal. Next, click on Orders in the left panel to launch the On-demand app.
The order list will load granting you an overview of the latest requested orders, the languages their translating to, format, date of upload, requester and status.
Clicking any of the orders will let you in the order details page, where you can gather further information on their status, translations, the user that made the request, among others. This is also the page where you can check the translation and see or download the translated output.
You can download all different language translations by clicking the button at the top of the page, or download individual translation by clicking the icon at the end of the its respective entry. It is also possible to request the cancellation of any request.
By clicking any of the languages you requested the translation to, you'll be able to see the translated text content and the translation ID for the request. This is the ID you need to share with Unbabel if you wish to report any problem with a translation request.
Searching and filtering orders
It is possible to search and filter orders according to certain criteria, in order to make it easier to find specific orders amidst your several requests.
Using the search bar will restrict the list to the results partially matching the text you typed:
Clicking any of the filters above the list allows you to multi-filter according to target language, request date, request author, file type and order status. Clear each individual filter by clicking the X icon appearing on the field when a filter is selected, or click Clear All to remove all filters.
Accessing and downloading translations
Clicking any order will open the details page, where you'll be able to see all the languages the translation was requested to. In this page, you can immediately choose to download all translations included in the request, if multiple languages were selected, by creating a downloadable zip file. You can also download translations individually, by clicking the download icon at the end of each entry. If you only need to access the content, you can merely click on the language entry to expand the page and copy the content of the translation directly.
Cancelling a translation request
if for any reason you need to cancel an on-demand order, you can do so at the Order Details page. Click on the name of any order:
You have the option of cancelling the whole order at once by clicking the Cancel Order button next to Download All, which will cancel requests for all languages, or cancel each language individually, by clicking the Cancel button that appears at the end of each entry row once you hover over it. A pop-up requesting confirmation will appear, in which you can confirm you wish to cancel the order. The status will update accordingly if you confirm the action.
