There may be circumstances where a translated inbound message fails to be posted in the conversation.
This may be due to several reasons, such as temporary unavailability of the API, a ticket property preventing a Kustomer workflow from working, or the content and size of the inbound causing problems.
If that is the case, we won't retry the translation request automatically, but you can use the command #inbound in an internal note to request a new translation. Add the command at the start of the note and then add the text you wish to translate in a different paragraph. This will create a free translation request which is machine-translated only for the text you just submitted.
There are different uses for this command:
- requesting a translation while filtering out html or other code, bad source, or other content that may compromise the original translation request
- translate only part of the original request
- translating foreign language content of other internal notes which are not part of the Unbabel flow
Using the command will require the necessary configuration of your active workflows.
