Connecting your workflows allows translations to be delivered seamlessly without agents having to alternate between different tools. When you complete the workflow configuration, your CRM will connect to your Unbabel account and the translation capabilities of Unbabel become available to your agents. With Unbabel for Intercom, you can have your chat messages translated seamlessly and allow agents to reply in a different language through the use of a simple command.
Note: you need to permissions that state your user "Can install, configure and delete apps" in your Intercom instance to complete the process successfully.
Note 2: you need to have an Unbabel Portal role of Integrations Manager, Admin or Owner
1 - Head to the Intercom App Store at https://www.intercom.com/app-store.
2 - Search for “Unbabel” and click on “Unbabel for Intercom”.
3 - A pop-up modal will appear. Click “Sign in to install” (this will first log you into Intercom) or “Install now” if you are already logged in.
4 - You’ll be asked to sign in with your Customer Portal credentials. Input the credentials and click Log in to move to the next step.
5 - Authorize your instance to connect to Unbabel. Click “Connect” to give permissions to the app. Wait up to a few minutes while the necessary authorizations are created.
6 - Once you see the following screen Unbabel is installed and you can start translating seamlessly!
