To begin ordering translations, access the On-demand orders app.
Click on "Orders" in the left panel to enter the app
This will take you to the On-demand view, where you can request and locate existing translations. Click on "New Order" to initiate a new translation request.
A new window will appear, guiding you through the necessary steps to request the translation. The first step is to enter the order name (which will be displayed on the home page), the actual content, and the text format.
There are two ways to provide the source text:
-
Typing/Pasting: Enter the content directly into the text box. Make sure to select the desired format for your content generation and click "Generate File." Once generated, click "Next.
- File Upload: Upload a file in one of our several supported formats. After loading a file, you won't be able to edit the content in the text box. You can clear the content by removing the selected file. The file format should be automatically detected, but please verify its correctness to ensure translation quality.
Once you have completed the steps, click the "Next" button in the bottom right corner of the screen. If the button is greyed out, you most likely have missed one of the required fields.
In the next step, you will need to provide additional details about the order:
- Choose the Pipeline Group to be used for the translation.
- Select the source language.
- Choose one or more target languages.
In the final step, we will ask you to confirm the order details before submitting the request.
The request will then be sent to our translation pipeline. At this stage, translation requests will be processed and follow the translation flow based on the selected Pipelines.
Once the order is ready, you will receive an email notification informing you that the order has been completed, and the status on the Portal will be updated accordingly.
