To create a pipeline group, follow these simple steps:
- Accessing the Pipelines Section:
Click on the Pipelines section and then "New Group" to initiate the process. If this is your first pipeline group, you will be provided with a guided tour.
- Selecting Content Types and Templates:
In this step, you will find a selection of templates. These templates represent default setups that are considered best suited for specific use cases or content types. They automatically configure the steps and quality parameters of the translation flow. You can always change the pipeline group flow later. Click Next to proceed.
Which Pipeline template should you choose?
REALTIMEBASE This is a machine-translation-only flow using standard generic engines where the focus is turnaround time and cost-effectiveness. FUNCTION This is a machine-translation-only flow using industry-specific engines where the focus is still on turnaround time but you will have access to engines trained on industry-specific terminology. CUSTOMISED This is a machine-translation-only flow using customer-specific engines that are adapted to your own brand voice and guidelines. HYBRIDLITE This is a hybrid translation flow using machine translation as a first step and followed by some human edition MID This is a hybrid translation flow using machine translation as a first step and followed by a substantial human edition FUNCTION This is a hybrid translation flow using machine translation as a first step and always followed by a human editor SPECIALISTPROFESSIONAL TRANSLATION This is a hybrid translation flow using 2 human steps (Editor + Reviewer). The review step will be ensured by our expert community. CREATIVE TRANSLATION This is a hybrid translation flow using 2 human steps (Reviewer + Reviewer) providing our top quality. - Defining Language Pairs and Formality Level:
Each language pair forms a pipeline. Select the source language and multi-select all target languages. Choose the required level of formality for each language you wish to translate. Click the Add button to add new pipelines within the group.
The added pipelines will be listed at the bottom of the tab. You can add pipelines with different formality levels. To delete a pipeline, click the trash bin icon at the end of its respective row. Once you are done, click Next.
- Naming, Reviewing and Creating Your Pipeline Group:
- As the last step of the configuration, you need to name your pipeline group. Consider naming it based on the content type, use case, or area of operations for which it will be used.
- Check for a summary of your definitions. Review the details, and when you are ready, click the "Add" button.
Note: All changes made during the process are automatically saved, even if you navigate back and forth between tabs.
Accessing Your Pipeline Group
After creating the pipeline group, it will be listed in the Pipelines section, along with any existing groups. You can access the details page of a specific group by clicking on the respective button.
Now that you have set up your first pipeline group, you can start translating or continue adding different pipelines to meet your specific translation needs.
