Exceeding Translation Units and Charges

To ensure that you don't miss out on translation opportunities, we have introduced a feature that allows you to exceed your allocated translation units for up to a day. However, it's important to note that exceeding the allocated units may result in overuse charges to optimize your translation experience and prevent any disruptions.

Here are the steps to consider regarding exceeding translation units:

1. Allocation Exceeded: If you exceed your allocated units, your account will be blocked temporarily to prevent further usage.

2. Additional Units and Charges: When you exceed your allocated units, any extra units used will be charged at the same rate. These charges will be invoiced monthly in arrears. The price per additional Unbabel Unit is $3.

3. Free Units vs. Payable Units: It's important to understand the distinction between "Free Units" and "Payable Units." Free Units are the ones you have already prepaid for, while Payable Units are the units that have been used when exceeding the paid number of units.

By being aware of your allocated units and the potential charges for exceeding them, you can effectively manage your translation needs and optimize your translation experience.
