Installation Guide

Follow the steps below to install and integrate Unbabel with your Freshchat environment.

1 - Find the Unbabel app in the Marketplace and install it.

2 - Once the app is installed, head to Conversations inbox and select any conversation.

3 - The Unbabel widget should load in the User Info panel to the right.

4 - Click on Get Started on the widget

5 - A new tab inside the Unbabel portal will open in your browser, loading on the first step of the authorization process. A Freshdesk API key will be requested. Click on the Profile Settings hyperlink to open another tab on Freshchat settings.

6 - Once in your Personal Settings menu, validate the recaptcha to reveal the API key.

Copy the API key from API DETAILS FOR CHAT.

7 - Select the Unbabel Portal tab. Paste the API key in the appropriate field and click Authorize.

8 - In step two of the authorization process, we will search all agents of the instance. You can choose to authorize all agents or skip this step and authorize them through the Customer Portal later.

9 - Once available, click on Start using Unbabel in step three to conclude the installation.

Unbabel is now fully integrated with your instance and the integration widget will be functional once you open a conversation. You can start using Unbabel now provided you are an authorized user!
