Introduction
When configuring Unbabel’s Connector, in order to be able to communicate with Unbabel, a ConnectedApp is created and by default all users can authenticate with the app. This document describes how an administrator can restrict access to the connected app.
Note: this feature is available only with version 1.90 or more recent of the Unbabel Connector package.
When to use this document
When you want to restrict Unbabel’s ConnectedApp permissions to only some users.
Steps
1 - Head to the Setup page and search for Manage Connected Apps.
2 - Click Edit on UnbabelApp
3 - Select Permitted Users and Select “Admin approved users are pre-authorized”
4 - Click Save.
5 - Return to the previous page and click UnbabelApp again
6 - Add the permission sets and/or profiles that should be allowed to authenticate with the connected App
7 - From the AppLaucher go to Unbabel Configuration Page
8 - Click Reauthenticate
9 - After reauthenticating you will be redirected. Come back to the Unbabel Configuration Page and click TEST
You should see a message stating you were successfully verified.
