A long awaited improvement, the new dashboard now easily shows you the multiple tasks every Editor can gather at Unbabel as they are promoted to higher roles. All the info you need to know will be available right on the dashboard.
New Hourly Rates
From now on, each language pair will have its own independent hourly rate for paid tasks, instead of a single hourly rate for all languages. Your last hourly rate will be the default rate for all your language pairs.
Review tasks will have a fixed hourly rate. This value won't change based on your performance, for now.
As usual, every Editor's first hourly rate is $8/h on paid tasks and has this rate
In your dashboard, the language pairs are organized based on the roles you have at Unbabel. If you are a Senior Editor on a given language pair, you will have access to Review tasks, paid tasks and training tasks on that same language pair.
Evaluations and Scores
Editors will get or keep accessing paid tasks based on Evaluations done regularly by Unbabel. A sample of your tasks will be rated and attributed an Evaluation Score. This Evaluations Score is displayed on the new language tabs of your dashboard. Learn more about Evaluations on our FAQ.
Get help from our Quality&Language Guidelines
Guidelines are useful tools Unbabel gives to Editors to make translation even easier. As we know, every language has its own particularities. Quality&Language Guidelines will give you valuable tips about punctuation, capitalization, avoiding common mistakes, etc.

Tip: Following the guidelines will help you improve your performance.
