The Unbabel Connector for Salesforce is a pre-requisite for the installation of any Unbabel application in Salesforce. The Connector package will generate the appropriate rules and permissions that allow for the communication between your Salesforce organization and our translation pipeline to occur smoothly.
You can find a step-by-step illustrated guide attached to this article.
The guide is prepared and explained for Salesforce Classic, so it is recommended that users of Lightning switch to this mode just for installation purposes.
Firstly, an Admin should already be logged in into the target Salesforce organization. Next, copy the the URL provided in the guide.
Head back into the Unbabel - Configuration Menu tab, which should by now have turned into a verification tool. To verify the success of the connection setup, click the TEST button. This will trigger a machine translation request that will have no costs whatsoever to your company. Once the translation arrives a successfully verified message will display.
Head to the Unbabel Translation Permission section. You will find two checkboxes: Machine and Human. By selecting Machine you will configure a Sandbox Installation (MT-only), while Human is associated with the production, full MT+HT flow. Please refer to your Program Manager or CSM for instructions on this subject. Once you make the selection, click Save. A message at the top of the panel reading “Success: Configuration Updated” will signal the end of the installation.
Should you encounter any difficulties during the installation process, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are pleased to help you.
