These instructions assume that you already have Salesforce Live Agent Up and running. If that is not the case please check on Salesforce Documentation how to do so before continuing to follow this document. You may consult this document on how to Set Up Chat in Salesforce Classic or this one on how to do it for Lightning Experience.

Installation
While logged in to your instance and having Admin rights, paste the following URL into your browser:
[your Salesforce Org URL]/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t1n000002WqUh to install version 1.17. Select the option "Install for All users" from the appearing screen. You will get an “Installation Complete” message. Click “Done”. It's now time for some basic configurations.
Configurations
Set permissions
The “Unbabel LA Permissions” permission sets enables the permissions for Unbabel users. Head to the “Setup” screen. Search for Users > Permission Sets in the search bar, click the link, click on the Permission Set Label “Unbabel LA Permissions”, click "Manage Assignments", then "Add Assignments". Pick the users that will be using Unbabel Translation and click assign.
Organization configurations
To ensure a synchronous chat flow, ensure that your outbound chat messages are being sent automatically. Search for the Unbabel - Live Agent Configuration item in the App Launcher. Find the Sent Chat Messages field under Chat Configurations and select the Automatic translation value.
Updating Page Layouts
You will need to adapt several page layouts to contain Unbabel elements.
- Translation request page layout
Enter the Setup menu in Salesforce. Open the Object Manager and find the Translation Request Object.
Go to Page Layouts → Unbabel Translation Request Layout.
Add the section "Chat Content” with the fields: Unbabel ChatKey, Unbabel Author, Unbabel Inbound, Unbabel Timeout, Order, Unbabel Published, Unbabel Original Chat Message, and Unbabel Translated Chat Message.
Not adding these fields to the layout may result in unexpected behavior when receiving translations on the Chat component.
- Live chat transcript layout
Enter the Setup menu and click on Page Layouts under Chat Transcripts. You will need to follow these instructions for each separate layout in use.
Click on their Edit link and open the Custom Console Components on the top of the page. Under the Subtab Components add a Visualforce Page to the UnbabelChatSidetab to the Left Sidebar and add a given width to it. Save your changes.
Next, on the Transcript section, add the Unbabel Translated Body component by dragging and dropping it to the Transcript section.
