Yes, you can. By default, Unbabel will fire when a ticket is opened by an authorized agent who does not speak the language of that ticket - the feature Start Automatically is on.
If you wish for Unbabel to only initialize on-demand, you can ask for the help of your Program Manager or CSM and we can toggle that option on for you.
With Start Automatically off, an agent opening the ticket will need to press a button to launch the app and fire the first translation. This is not reversible, and all needed translations will appear on the ticket from that moment on.
Note: the On-demand feature is not compatible with Automatic Pre-translation if you have it set-up.
Best Practices
Be sure to have your agent's spoken languages correctly set up before using the On-demand feature. In case an agent tries to start a ticket in a language he speaks, the applet will return an "errorcode1" error and disable any options.
Navigate to another initialized ticket to be able to adjust the language settings.
