Having trouble fully grasping the meaning of a translation for an inbound message?
Inbound messages only run through a machine translation process by default.
In some cases, an agent would benefit from having a human counterpart review the message and deliver a new translation with native-level quality. We have included a feature allowing for such an improved translation to be requested.
Before requesting an upgrade, please consider checking if the language is correctly detected, as that may be the case for a poor translation. Poor quality source text can also cause it, to an extent that even a human counterpart may not be able to improve.
To request an inbound translation, simply post an internal note containing #upgrade. This will translate the last inbound translation in the ticket. While the translation is ongoing, you will see the internal note below confirming the request, before the proper translation becomes available.
