Unbabel's translation pipeline can handle different content formats, but the specificities of working with them vary from one type to another. This can be increasingly complex depending on the risk factor for each supported file type.
Some formats with more complex structure may require you to review them to ensure the translation process hasn't changed any important properties.
A few factors can cause formatting issues:
The source file contained the formatting issue
If the issue is present in the source, most likely we will return the content with the same issue. Learn more about file formats and how they should be optimally formatted by reading this article.
The selected format was wrong
When you submit a translation order, you may be required to select the appropriate text format. This will determine the format of the output file and the way we will deal with the translation. If your translation is badly formatted, confirm if the selected format was the correct one under the Order details page. If it wasn't, you will need to submit a new request where the selection is done correctly.
Translation pipeline issues
Having made the correct choice, the file type being supported and the file correctly formatted, and you still found problems with the output, you will need to report the translation to us.
