In this section of the Portal, you can upload files directly to Unbabel or retrieve your requested Usage Data Exports files. Files that were uploaded or generated this way are listed according to their file type and ordered from newest to oldest.
Uploading files
It is customary, during the contract with Unbabel, for a client to send diverse types of content that will help us build or improve the set of tailor-made linguistic resources. This can range from email or chat examples or transcripts, customer support templates, glossaries or agent guidelines, which are used since the onboarding stage and throughout the rest of the customer journey.
You can upload this type of content directly on this section of the Customer Portal. Usually, you will be uploading files that your CSM or LangOps specialist is expecting or asked you for. Using this feature saves time by performing the operation directly in the Portal interface, instead of having to use third-party apps like Google Drive or Dropbox.
While we keep improving the feature, please make sure to notify us at customer.happiness@unbabel.com that you proceeded with any uploads.
To upload a file, click the Upload New Files button in the top right corner of the screen. A window will pop up, from which you can select multiple files to upload. While the upload is ongoing, a popup will show you the current progress.
You can view all past files in their original format, as well as download them directly to your device or delete files that are no longer needed by clicking either option at the end of each file entry.
Usage Data Export files
Files generated through Usage Data Export requests become available in this section. Data exports generate ZIP files that can be downloaded from the Portal and decompressed in the user's device. Similarly to other files, they too can be deleted when no longer necessary.
