This article shows you how you can conditionally display the Unbabel Chat component per user field/profile, using Salesforce native capabilities for Lightning page filters. This may be useful when you want to enable the Unbabel Chat only for a subset of Agents.
Based On Lightning Page Filters
Both cases are described for the Lightning Console Page. Please follow these steps:
1 - Select the Edit Page option on the Service Console:
2 - Select the UnbabelChatBody component, and click on Add Filter:
3 - Choose the Advanced option:
Select the option that best fits your use case under Field.
Per User Field
For example: you can select the Unbabel Main Language field and only display the component for Agents with a selected value (ex: English).
Per Custom Permission
You can also create a filter to only display the Unbabel Chat component to users based on an existing custom permission. For example:
