As you can read in this article, hourly rates are meant to vary quite a lot. This means that in practice, over the course of several months you should notice at least some variation in your hourly rate.
If you haven’t noticed variation over the last few months at all, this could be for one of three reasons:
- If your rate is at 18USD, that means your hourly rate has reached the maximum and you have consistently maintained this through excellent efficiency - this is nothing to worry about;
- If your rate is consistently at 10USD or less and you find yourself unable to earn more, this is likely because your speed is slower than other editors - make efforts to speed up and you should notice an improvement;
- If your rate is fixed somewhere in between these two and you’re certain it hasn’t changed for more than three months, it may be an error in the system - please contact us to remedy this.
