Unbabel is a complex system with lots of different features, checks, and balances. But in the typical, simplest case, this is how it works:
- A customer agent working for one of our clients replies to a ticket and their response gets sent to Unbabel automatically through their email software.
- Our system anonymises all customer data, then translates the text into the target language using our AI engines.
- We pass it onto our editor community, who check the text and correct it, if necessary, to ensure it is of native quality. This is why we call the people in our community editors and not translators.
- The perfectly translated text is returned to the client, in some cases only a few minutes after it was sent.
We also analyse jobs to ensure the highest possible quality, and feed the findings from this back into our AI software to ensure that our machines get even better at translating the jobs.
