Please note that the AI Quality Suggestions feature is currently in Beta and is only available for select translation projects.
The feature provides suggestions of possible errors in the translation, highlighted by QE, an AI-powered technology created by Unbabel.
How to work with AI Quality Suggestions
To activate AI Quality Suggestions, click on the QE button on the bottom bar:
After this, the system will show you QE suggestions for all segments on the current page. You will see the number of suggestions next to the segment.
If there’s no QE suggestions displayed next to the segment, it means that there is no QE suggestions spotted.
Segment #3 has 2 QE suggestions, segment #6 has 1 QE suggestion. For the remaining segments, no QE suggestions are available.
When you click on a segment containing QE suggestions, they will appear below the target text, highlighted in red.
If the QE suggestions identify actual errors, please correct the target text accordingly. Then, click the "recalculate" button to ensure no new QE suggestions appear. If there are no new QE suggestions, you will see the corresponding message:
To navigate through QE suggestions, you can either click directly on the segments with QE suggestions or use the counter buttons next to the "QE" button, which displays the number of segments with QE suggestions. Clicking on the arrows will take you between segments with QE suggestions.
In this example, "30" represents the number of segments with QE suggestions available on the current page, while "1" indicates the number of the last active segment with QE suggestions.
After completing the task, you will be asked for feedback. We highly encourage you to provide your insights, as this will help improve the AI Quality Suggestions feature in the future.
Guidelines and recommendations
- We recommend using QE suggestions as an additional quality assurance step before submitting the project.
- You should treat QE suggestions as recommendations and a tool to help you in your work, but your judgment should always take precedence.
- Not incorporating QE suggestions won’t impact your evaluation.
