Please note that the Translator Copilot feature is in beta and only available for select translation projects.
What is Translator Copilot?
The Translator Copilot is a feature that leverages LLMs to detect compliance with customer instructions at the segment level and uses QE to identify potential quality errors.
By combining these two technologies, the system is designed to provide AI-powered suggestions to streamline your workflow and enhance accuracy.
How to Work with Translator Copilot
To activate the Translator Copilot, click the buttons at the bottom of the page.
Once activated, the system will display:
- AI Suggestions (LLM-based) – Ensures compliance with customer instructions.
- Potential Errors (QE-based) – Highlights possible translation quality issues.
You’ll know Copilot has suggestions when a number appears on the right side of a segment.
AI suggestions highlight issues with strikethrough text and display corrections in blue. To accept a suggestion, click the Accept button.
Once accepted, the segment is automatically updated, and Translator Copilot recalculates to detect any new issues in the revised content.
If an AI suggestion is not helpful, you can use the Report button to flag it.
Potential errors triggered by QE appear below the AI suggestions in the side panel, with the QE system marking possible errors in red within the segment.
If there are no Copilot suggestions, the segment won't display a number, and the side panel will show neither QE nor AI suggestions.
For example, if a segment shows "2" it means there are 2 Copilot suggestions, which may include both AI and QE suggestions.
To navigate Copilot suggestions, click a segment with suggestions or use the arrows at the bottom of the page to move between them.
In this example, the number "27" represents the total number of segments with Copilot suggestions on the current page, while "11" indicates the active segment with suggestions.
Once you’ve finished your task, simply submit it as usual—that’s it! Happy reviewing!
