Polyglot allows you to manually confirm segments as reviewed, giving you more control over your workflow, especially in long tasks. This feature helps you keep track of what you’ve already looked at, without relying on external notes or memory.
What Is Segment Confirmation?
Segment confirmation is a way to mark a segment as reviewed once you've checked it. This does not affect the final delivery or quality score, it’s an optional tool to help you manage your progress during a task.
Confirmed segments are visually marked in the interface so you can easily see which ones you've already reviewed, even if you didn’t need to make changes.
ℹ️ Segments that are blocked are automatically marked as confirmed by default. These appear with a grayed-out confirmation toggle and cannot be unconfirmed, since they do not require editing.
How to Confirm a Segment
You can confirm a segment in two ways:
- Click the confirmation toggle (✓ icon) in the top-right corner of the segment.
- Use the keyboard shortcut (see section below) for faster navigation.
Once a segment is confirmed:
- The icon updates to indicate that the segment has been marked as confirmed.
- The segment remains fully editable in case you need to make further changes.
- If you edit a confirmed segment, the toggle will automatically revert to unconfirmed, so you can reconfirm it once you’ve completed your edits.
Keyboard Shortcut
To streamline your work, you can confirm a segment using the following shortcut:
- Ctrl + Enter (Windows/Linux)
- Cmd + Enter (Mac)
This marks the segment as confirmed and automatically moves to the next one.
What Happens Across Pages?
If your task includes multiple pages, segment confirmation is preserved across pages. This means you can navigate freely without losing track of your progress.
At any time, you can:
- Return to previously reviewed segments.
- Unconfirm a segment if you want to revisit or revise it.
⚠️ Marking a page as done does not automatically confirm the segments on that page — each segment must be confirmed individually.
When to Use Segment Confirmation
We recommend always using segment confirmation as part of your review or editing workflow. It helps ensure no segment is overlooked and gives you a clear view of your progress.
Segment confirmation is especially useful when:
- Working on long tasks with many segments.
- Navigating across multiple pages, where it helps you quickly see what’s been reviewed and what may need another look.
- Reviewing complex tasks where it’s easy to lose track of completed segments.
Important Notes
- Segment confirmation is optional, it’s a productivity tool, not a requirement for submission.
- It does not affect how the task is evaluated or delivered.
- You can edit confirmed segments at any time.
- You can unconfirm a segment if needed.
