Task preview for review tasks

When you fetch a new task from the queue, you will see a preview of the task. In the task preview, the content of the task is presented in a read-only view. You can also check instructions using the resizable side panel.

If the task contains multiple pages, you’ll only be able to preview the first page.

Skipping the task

If you decide not to work with the task, please click the “Skip” button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Preview timer

The preview time is displayed in the bottom right of the screen and indicates the time you have available to preview the task and decide whether to claim it or skip it. If the time reaches the limit, the task will go back to the queue and be available to other translators to pick it up.

Claiming the task

If you want to claim the task, please click a corresponding button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Reading task instructions

Before starting to work on the task, please read task instructions in the pop up that will appear right after claiming the task.

Instructions may have two sections:

• Task-specific instructions that are applied only to this particular task.
• Customer general instructions that are applied to all content for this customer;

There’s no time limit for reading instructions, please take your time to read them carefully before starting to work. Once you've accepted the task, the timer will start.

After you've finished reading the instructions, please click the “Close” button to start working on the task.
